S T A T E M E N T

My work focuses on process.  The art that I create dances on the edge between realism and abstraction.

I am an expressive painter.  Memories of places where I have spent time, primarily on or near the water, are channeled into art through paint and bold brushstrokes.

My aim is to hopefully share with the viewer the emotional charge that I experience from my visits to these spaces that are sacred to me.
